02 · AI Voice Agents

The call you missed was the deal you lost

Voice is still where Indian business happens, and it is still where most leads die. An AI voice agent answers every call on the first ring, at 2am, in the caller's language, and books the meeting before your competitor has listened to their voicemail.

The problem

A missed call is not a neutral event. Studies consistently show the first business to respond wins the majority of the time — and most SMBs respond in hours, not seconds.

What we build

8 services in AI Voice Agents

Each one is a page of its own — pick the closest match, or tell us your problem and we'll point you at the right one.

Inbound Call Answering Agent

Answers every incoming call instantly, understands what the caller wants, answers it or books a callback, and logs the whole thing.

Result: Zero missed calls, including nights, Sundays and festivals.

Outbound Calling Agent

Works a list, opens the conversation, handles the first round of objections, and passes warm prospects to your closer.

Result: Your humans only speak to people who said yes to a conversation.

Appointment Reminder Caller

Calls the day before, confirms, reschedules if needed, and updates your calendar without anyone touching it.

Result: No-show rates typically drop by a third or more.

Payment & EMI Reminder Caller

Polite, consistent, tireless follow-up on outstanding invoices and instalments, with a payment link sent on the call.

Result: Faster collections without an awkward human conversation.

Speed-to-Lead Caller

The moment a form is submitted, the agent calls within 60 seconds while the prospect is still on your website.

Result: Dramatically higher connect rates than calling back the next day.

Feedback & Survey Caller

Calls after delivery, asks the questions, records the answers, and flags unhappy customers for immediate human follow-up.

Result: Real feedback at scale instead of a form nobody fills.

Smart IVR Replacement

Kills the 'press 1 for sales' menu. The caller just says what they want and gets routed correctly the first time.

Result: Callers stop hanging up in the menu.

Regional Language Voice Bot

Natural conversation in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Kannada — including code-mixed Hinglish, which real customers actually speak.

Result: Reach the 80% of India that does not want to do business in English.

What you get

Included in every engagement

  • Voice agent with your script, tone and escalation rules
  • Phone number provisioning and call routing
  • Live transcript and recording of every call
  • CRM logging — every call becomes a record automatically
  • Human transfer on demand
  • Call analytics: outcomes, objections, drop-off points

How it's built

Typical stack

  • Realtime speech models
  • Twilio / Exotel / Plivo
  • Indian-language TTS
  • CRM webhooks

We pick tools per project rather than forcing every client onto the same stack. If something in your business already works, we build around it instead of replacing it.

In depth

AI Voice Agents: what you should know before you commit

AI voice agents are the highest-impact and highest-risk category we build. Here is what they genuinely do well, what they cost per minute, and where Indian telecom regulation constrains what is possible.

The economics of a missed call

In most Indian service businesses, the phone is still where money changes hands. It is also where the largest and least-measured leakage happens: calls that ring out after 7pm, calls that arrive while the one person who can answer is already on another call, and callbacks that happen the next morning when the customer has already spoken to three competitors.

Nobody tracks this, because a missed call leaves no record beyond a number in a log nobody reviews. The first thing we do on a voice project is measure it — and the number is almost always higher than the owner expected.

What an AI voice agent costs per minute

All-in, an AI voice agent runs roughly ₹4–₹12 per minute. The spread depends on language — Indian-language speech recognition and synthesis cost more than English — and on your telephony provider.

ComponentShare of per-minute costNotes
Speech-to-text~20%Higher for Indian languages and code-mixed speech
Language model~35%Depends on conversation complexity and context size
Text-to-speech~25%Natural-sounding Indian voices cost more
Telephony~20%Exotel, Twilio, Plivo — varies by circle and volume

Compare that to a trained human agent in Navi Mumbai once you account for idle time, training, supervision and attrition. The AI is meaningfully cheaper — but only for calls it can actually finish. That qualifier is where most of the honest analysis lives.

What voice agents handle well, and what they do not

We have shipped enough of these to be specific rather than optimistic. The line is fairly clear.

Handles wellHand to a human
Answering every call outside working hoursPrice negotiation
Appointment confirmation and reschedulingGenuinely angry customers
Payment and EMI remindersAnything requiring an exception to policy
First-touch qualification within 60 seconds of a formComplex technical troubleshooting
High-volume repetitive outboundAnything where a mistake is expensive

Speed-to-lead: the one use case with the clearest return

If you buy leads — from a property portal, from Google, from Meta — the single highest-return voice deployment is a speed-to-lead agent that calls within sixty seconds of a form submission.

The mechanism is simple: the prospect is still on your website, still thinking about the thing they enquired about, and has not yet spoken to anyone else. Connect rates from a call in that window are dramatically higher than a call the next morning, and the agent only needs to qualify and book — the human closer takes it from there.

This is also the deployment where the before-and-after number is easiest to measure, which makes it a good first project.

The regulatory position in India

Outbound commercial calling in India is governed by TRAI regulations, including DND registration and the DLT framework for commercial communication. This is not optional and it is not something to discover after launch — getting it wrong can get your numbers blocked.

We build to those rules. In practice that means DLT registration for the sender, scrubbing against DND where the call is promotional, and clear identification at the start of the call. We also disclose that the caller is an AI assistant, which is both the honest thing to do and increasingly the safe one as disclosure rules tighten globally.

Inbound answering has none of these constraints, which is another reason it is usually the better place to start.

Does it sound like a person?

Close enough that most callers do not ask — and we tell them anyway. Modern speech synthesis handles Indian English and major Indian languages convincingly, and the remaining tell is usually latency rather than voice quality: a half-second pause before every reply is what makes a call feel robotic.

Reducing that latency is most of the engineering work on a voice project. It is also why voice agents cost more to build than chatbots: there is no forgiving delay in a phone conversation the way there is in chat.

What you get

A configured agent with your script and escalation rules, phone number provisioning, live transcripts and recordings of every call, automatic CRM logging, human transfer on demand, and analytics showing outcomes, common objections and where callers drop off.

That last one has repeatedly turned out to be more valuable than clients expected. A transcript of every call your business receives, searchable, is a genuinely new thing for most SMBs.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Does it actually sound human?

Close enough that most callers do not ask. We disclose that it is an AI assistant at the start of the call — that is both the honest thing to do and, increasingly, the legally safe one.

What happens if the agent cannot handle the call?

It transfers to a human with the conversation summary already delivered, so your team does not start from zero.

What does a call cost?

Roughly ₹4–₹12 per minute all-in, depending on language and telephony provider. We model your actual expected volume before you sign anything.

Is this legal for outbound calling in India?

Outbound commercial calling is governed by TRAI regulations including DND/DLT registration. We build to those rules and will not ship a system that puts your numbers at risk.
